Petly — Privacy Policy

Petly ("we", "us") helps pet owners manage their pets' daily care, schedule, journal and health records, with an AI care assistant. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Petly you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

We only collect what you provide or what is needed to run the app:

• Account — your email address, and your name if you provide it. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email (and name, if shared) from them.
• Pet information — names, species, breed, gender, age, weight and photos you add.
• Your content — daily tasks, appointments and reminders, journal entries with moods and photos, and any health-record documents or images you upload.
• Profile — your display name and optional profile photo.
• Subscription status — your plan and whether a trial or subscription is active.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

How we use your information

• To provide the app's features and store your pets, tasks, schedule, journal and documents in your account.
• To generate personalized advice in the AI Coach feature.
• To manage your subscription and account.

AI Coach

When you use the AI Coach, your message together with relevant context about the selected pet (such as its species, breed, age, weight, recent journal entries and upcoming reminders) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. This data is processed to produce the reply and is not used to train models. Do not enter information you do not wish to share. AI advice is for general guidance only and is not a substitute for a veterinarian.

Service providers

• Supabase — secure database and file storage that hosts your account and content.
• Anthropic — powers the AI Coach (see above).
• Apple / Google — optional sign-in.

Each user's data is protected so that only the signed-in account can access its own information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. This removes your account and all associated data (pets, tasks, schedule, journal, documents and profile) and cannot be undone.

Children

Petly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

You can access, edit or delete your information from within the app, or delete your entire account as described above. For any privacy request, contact us.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
